Little Girl Bursts Into Tears Of Joy After Seeing Her New Sibling For First Time

It’s a pretty magical and special moment if you can experience that at some point in your life, don’t you think? Think back to a time when you were at your happiest. A time when you were so overflowing and overwhelmed with joy that the only thing you could do is cry. For a 6-year-old named Adalynn, she felt that joy for the first time recently. Having a new child in the family can definitely be stressful for some children, and as parents, you don’t really know how your older child will react to a little sister or brother. Will they get mad that they no longer have their parents and attention for themselves, or will they be absolutely excited about the idea of having someone new around and being a big sibling to them?

These were questions that Erin and Dale from Aiken, South Carolina, were asking themselves as well. They had no idea how Adalynn would react, but her reaction when she saw her baby sister Madison was absolutely amazing.

Mom and dad were hoping for a happy and exciting moment – but they never imagined that it would be so incredibly emotional. Adalynn, or ‘Addy’ for short, slowly walks into her mom’s hospital room only moments after her baby sister Madison was born. You can already see Addy’s face beaming with excitement and anticipation. After all, she’s been waiting for this little bundle of joy for 9 months already!

As soon as Addy reaches her mom Erin’s bedside, she takes her first glimpse at the newborn baby in her arms. That’s when Addy becomes completely overwhelmed with emotion and it all comes surging out at once. You can see in her eyes that these are some very powerful feelings she’s experiencing! Little Addy, in fact, seems visibly moved as soon as she took the first steps inside the hospital room; when she then sees her mother on her bed, holding the little sister she had never seen before in her arms that she, of course, ʙᴜʀsᴛs ɪɴᴛᴏ ᴛᴇᴀʀs of joy. No wonder the video has been viewed over 380,000 times!

Of course, seeing Adalynn react like this also made mom and dad quite emotional. The moment was most definitely very special, and Ada just couldn’t wait to hold Madison in her arms. Unfortunately, that wasn’t a good idea because she was just born. Addy then grabbed her hand instead, knowing that soon she’d be able to hold Madison in her arms and take care of her as a big sister.

Mom Erin certainly didn’t expect such a huge reaction on social media, and she uploaded a more recent photo of her dear Adalynn and Madison together a while later. This time, Addy was able to hold her newborn sister in her arms and it’s about the cutest thing ever. At that moment Addy also formed a special bond with her little sister which she will never forget.
