The 60-year-old actor is also known for not using stunt doubles, almost always. Certainly, he likes his share of the pie of the action. He has always been in the thick of the adrenaline-pumping shooting of action sequences. Decorated and one of the world’s highest-paid actors, Cruise is a recipient of an Honorary Palme d’Or and three Golden Globe Awards. He also has four Academy Awards nominations to his acting resume.

Tom Cruise has yet again put on a daring stunt show for his fans. During the broadcast of the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards, Cruise gave an insanely entertaining acceptance speech. He won the best performance in a movie award for his role in the Hollywood blockbuster, Top Gun: Maverick, a sequel to his 1986 hit, Top Gun.

Following the stunt as can be seen in the clip, Cruise again got his name in the headlines. In the clip shared by MTV Movies and Tv Award’s official Twitter handle, the actor received the award in a fighter plane. The video shows Cruise wearing sunglasses and speaking into a headset while the fighter plane was flying high in the sky. His golden popcorn trophy was also perfectly visible in the frame. “Thank you so much for this award,” the actor said.

“I make these films for you. I love you. I love entertaining you. To know how much you enjoy it, how much you appreciate it, there’s just no better feeling.”
