Priyanka Chopra is soaring high on Hollywod success. After giving three successful movies and establishing herself as a superstar with ‘Quantico’, PeeCee recently bagged her fourth Hollywood project opposite Chris Pratt in the movie titled ‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’ where she would reportedly be playing the female lead.

The movie was to release on June 28th, 2019. However, a report in a media portal stated that the film was taken off the Universal calendar release dates and that it was delayed indefinitely. While it was assumed that the this indefinite delay in the movie could result in it getting shelved, recent reports claim that the film is still in active development with Chris Pratt, Priyanka, and Michelle MacLaren remaining on board.

The production studios, Universal said that it will be re-rated at a later time to accommodate production scheduling. Sources close to the development state that the studio delayed the film rather than rushing it out to make the June 28th deadline.

‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’ is based on the Image Comics graphic novel by AJ Lieberman and Riley Rossmo.Meanwhile on the Bollywood front, Priyanka is busy shooting for Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky is Pink’ which is based on the life of Aisha Chaudhary (author of My Little Epiphanies) and also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim.
